A dry start to Sunday for most, but with showery rain for some western areas.

Towards lunchtime it'll become much windier in the north and west, with the best of the sunshine for eastern parts.

By the evening most of the UK should turn drier with sunny spells, but there'll be further showery rain for much of Wales and some southwestern parts of England.

Monday will bring heavy rain for southwestern areas, which will move slowly eastwards through the day.

Eastern and northern parts of the UK should have a dry, sunny day though.
